Dyson vacuums can be expensive, but we've found the best Dyson deals and cheapest prices for you this September

Dyson is clearly the name to beat when it comes to vacuum cleaners, with a reputation for light, cordless sticks, superior suction and high-quality design. Like most premium products that have established themselves as category leaders in their class, Dyson products can be on the pricier side, and worthwhile deals can be hard to come by.

Thankfully, we've done the hard work for you by vacuuming up all the best prices available on all the top-range Dyson vacuum cleaners.

Dyson has a range of different cordless, handheld and cylinder-based vacuum cleaners and we've searched the web to find you the best prices for each one this month, as well as adding mini-reviews of each to help find the right model for you.

Be sure to keep an eye on this page, as it will be regularly updated with the best deals and price drops for Dyson vacuums as and when they pop up online.

1. Dyson V15 Detect Absolute: The overall best Dyson

Best prices: £569 at Donaghy Bros. | £629 at AO | £630 at Dyson

The V15 Detect Absolute is the best Dyson vacuum you can buy, with its strong suction power and range of vacuum heads (suitable for both hard floor and carpet) and accessories. It comes with a built-in screen that displays battery life, shows which power setting you’ve selected and how many particles it has collected. One of our only nitpicks in our full Dyson V15 Detect Absolute review was its price, but having found somewhere to snag it for well under £600, that quibble is mostly taken care of.

Best prices: £250 at Argos | £325 at Donaghy Bros | £250 at Dyson

If you’ve got hard floors, the Dyson Omni-glide is the pick of the bunch, as we found in our full-length review. The motorised, soft rollers in the vacuum head do a fantastic job of sweeping up all sorts of dirt and dust, while its top-class manoeuvrability helps it move quickly and easily over hard surfaces. Most retailers list the Omni-glide at £349, but we, plucky price-hounds that we are, have found it for you at a pretty jaw-dropping £250.

3. Dyson V11 Outsize: The best for big houses

Best prices: £550 at Amazon | £700 at Argos | £700 at Dyson

The Dyson V11 Outsize is the supersized cordless to buy, with its 31cm-wide floorhead being bigger than most of its cordless rivals and helping provide superior suction. It's got a huge two-litre dustbin capacity too, ideal for those longer cleaning sessions. Add in an array of accessories and cleaning tools such as the crevice tool and wide nozzle head, and you've got a vacuum to tackle any mess. Retailing as high as £700, we cut the margins as much as we could, finding it at a pretty amazing £550 on Amazon.

Best prices: £425 at Donaghy Bros. | £430 at Argos | £430 at Dyson

Sitting between the V15 and the V8 in terms of power and bin capacity, the V10 Absolute is a lightweight and versatile option that still packs plenty of cleaning power. A manoeuvrable and quiet-running cordless model that can be used on both carpet and hard floor, the V10 is an attractive mid-budget option.

5. Dyson V8 Animal: The best-value Dyson vacuum

Best prices: £229 at Electric Shop | £229 at Argos | £330 at Dyson

The Dyson V8 Animal is a great, cheaper alternative to Dyson’s top-of-the-range vacuums, bringing a little less power, but at a much lower price. What we particularly liked when we reviewed it is the vacuum cleaner’s manoeuvrability and relative suction power. So, if you’re looking for a lightweight cordless Dyson at the most reasonable price, the V8 is your best bet, having come down in price significantly with the release of newer models. And what’s better than a cheap vacuum? A cheap vacuum on sale.

6. Dyson V7 Trigger Handheld: Get the best Dyson handheld at £30 off

Best prices: £199 at Sonic Direct | £200 at Dyson

The Dyson V7 Trigger handheld vacuum is essentially a regular V7, except that it’s sold without the extension wand and floor head to turn it into a cordless stick. It’s ideal for anyone looking for a simpler and more manageable Dyson for vacuuming cars, couches and crumb-laden countertops. It also comes with all the usual crevice and combination attachments, and has a solid 30-minute runtime. It can be hard to find deals on the V7 Trigger, but we’ve managed to find it for just under £200, which is a solid steal for this model. It's also worth noting that this model looks to be on its way out, so while there may some great offers, you’ll have to catch them while you can.

7. Dyson Ball Animal: The best-value corded Dyson

Best price: £280 at Argos

The Ball Animal comes in three varieties but the most affordable is the basic model. It’s an updated version of the original, which now comes with Dyson’s new anti-tangle floor head. Although the Ball Animal has the hassle of a cord that you’ll need to manage as you clean, it won’t run out of power part way through a job. It also has a much bigger collection bin than Dyson’s cordless stick vacuums, so you can clean for longer without having to empty it. If you want slightly more power, capacity and attachment options, look out for the Multi-floor and Complete versions, though they are at least £100 more expensive.
